Wauchope Physiotherapy & Sports Rehab Centre is looking for an exceptional Remedial Massage Therapist to work alongside our fabulous team of Allied Health professionals in our Sports Rehab Centre in Wauchope.

Our practice is a leading provider of Allied Health Services in the Hastings Area. Our Team includes Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Massage Therapy, Podiatry, Clinical Psychology, Audiology services and Dietitian services. Our team has over 120 years of experience and have extensive training in their field of expertise and work to provide a comprehensive, safe and thoroughly effective range of treatment services. Our team is growing and we are looking for the right person to join our Multidisciplinary team in a modern and purpose-built Sports Rehab facility – it is the first dedicated Allied Health Rehab Centre on the Mid North Coast.

About The Role:

The successful applicant will step into an existing caseload/clientele developed by an experienced Massage Therapist. The position will start part time with the plan to ‘grow’ the client base from our sport oriented community and in-house referrals.

Our team is very involved with our local community through sponsorship/ support of local sporting clubs. Our facility is magnificent – purpose-built to a standard normally only seen in the capital cities. Enjoy a private, A/C room with full reception support. Our clinic is very well equipped with a rehab/exercise physiology gym, private consult rooms, semi-private consult rooms, open consult space (in rehab gym) and a separate Pilates studio. Our clinic offers a friendly, professional and supportive working environment where a sense of humour is actually encouraged!

Clinical Psychologist – Gary Grant coming soon…

We warmly welcome an experienced Clinical Psychologist to our Allied health team – Gary Grant.

Gary believes that seeking Psychological support is a proactive means of learning healthy appropriate strategies to provide aid at difficult times during our lives. These may include learning to deal with difficult people (maybe your Boss or relatives), managing depression, anger and anxiety more strategically, recover from loss and grief and feelings of hopelessness.   Originally from Canada, Gary has worked around Australia within many areas including on call Mental Health, Family Services, Community Health, Corrections and Academia.


Gary is now semi- retired and will be consulting 1 – 2 days per week at our practice on a Tuesday or Wednesday


Area of interests: therapy for children, depression, anxiety, loss and grief, post-traumatic stress, chronic pain and those dealing with major stress situations leading to anger issues


Gary is here to help if you are looking for someone you can speak to who is non-judgmental and insightful. He brings a wealth of experience to his clients to help them to find their strengths. Complimenting Gary’s professional approach he is passionate about incorporating humour into his therapy sessions, believing that laughter is both positive and therapeutic. Personal interests: motorbikes, gardening and travel.
