Olivia Pottinger
Physiotherapist
BPhysio (UoN)
Originally from Muswellbrook in rural NSW, Olivia brings a blend of clinical experience, research insight, and genuine compassion to her role at Wauchope Physiotherapy. After graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2021, she gained valuable exposure across orthopaedics, intensive care, and palliative care during her new graduate year at John Hunter and Manning Base Hospitals. She also spent time in London working within the NHS before returning to the Mid North Coast.
In addition to her clinical work, Olivia contributes to research at Charles Sturt University, exploring how chronic pain services are delivered and experienced across the Hastings region — reflecting her strong commitment to patient-centred care and improving outcomes for people living with persistent pain.
Olivia’s clinical interests include sports rehabilitation, paediatric physiotherapy, and chronic pain management — particularly in children and young adults. She’s passionate about helping clients move with confidence, understand their bodies, and overcome both the physical and emotional challenges of long-term pain or injury.
Known for her excellent communication skills, clear explanations, and empathetic approach, Liv takes the time to ensure her patients feel supported and informed every step of the way. Her evidence-based practice and growing involvement in local health research make her a valuable part of the Wauchope Physio team.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find Liv playing netball, running, doing Pilates, or planning her next travel adventure — always bringing the same energy and positivity she shares with her patients.
