Director and Principal Physiotherapist
Nathan Lynch
BPhysio (USyd), CMP
Nathan has been part of the Wauchope Physiotherapy team since 2007 and has helped grow the clinic into one of the leading physiotherapy providers for the Wauchope and Port Macquarie region. Originally from Queanbeyan NSW, he completed his Physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney in 1999 and has worked across Australia and overseas — including England, Wales, Scotland, Isle of Man, Shetland Islands and India.
Nathan is currently completing advanced training in cognitive functional therapy for complex low back pain and is an accredited getback™ spinal rehab therapist, helping people across the Port Macquarie–Hastings area manage and recover from chronic back and neck pain. His clinical interests also include hip impingement (FAI), lumbo-pelvic dysfunction, headaches, and vestibular rehabilitation.
He has led several spinal rehabilitation initiatives, including a regional Chronic Pain Clinic with the University of Sydney and the region’s first implementation of the getback™ spinal rehab system. Having undergone multiple surgeries himself, Nathan brings genuine empathy and practical insight to each patient’s recovery.
Clients value his down-to-earth approach, clinical precision, and dry sense of humour. Outside the clinic, Nathan enjoys running, gym training, tennis, and time with his family. He’s also involved in local professional development events and the President of the Wauchope Tennis Club (in his spare time).
