Emily Lester

Physiotherapist

BPhysio (CSU)

Emily is a proud Wauchope local who’s passionate about helping athletes and active people recover stronger and move with confidence. After completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in Port Macquarie, she joined the Wauchope Physio team to combine her clinical skills with her lifelong involvement in sport and community.

Growing up in local clubs across Wauchope and Port Macquarie, including soccer, touch football and the Wauchope Blues Rugby League, Emily understands the demands of sport at every level. She brings that experience to her work in sports physiotherapy, injury prevention, and athlete rehabilitation.

Emily has provided on-field and tournament support as a sports physio for the Men’s National Masters Hockey Tournament (NSW Team) and the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League National Tournament in 2024 and 2025. Her clinical focus includes acute injury management, post-operative knee rehab, and performance testing to identify weaknesses and guide safe, effective return-to-play programs.

Her treatment style blends evidence-based rehab with clear education and individualised exercise programs — helping athletes of all ages recover from injury and reduce the risk of re-injury.

Outside the clinic, Emily stays active herself, having now played over 100 games for the Wauchope Blues league tag team, as well as keeping up with regular resistance training and touch footy.
