Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Alison Wilson
MClinExPhys (CSU), BAppSc (Human Movement)
Alison brings a rare combination of education, experience, and energy to her work as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Before joining the Wauchope Physio team, she spent over a decade as a Head PE Teacher in Mudgee and worked extensively in allied health settings across NSW — including as a Pilates instructor and Exercise Scientist.
Since completing her Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Charles Sturt University in 2021, Alison has supported a wide range of clients through musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic disease management, neurological care, and falls prevention. Her sessions are evidence-based and goal-driven, helping people of all ages build strength, balance, and confidence.
Alison has a strong interest in supporting clients with diabetes, arthritis, COPD, cardiovascular disease, and chronic fatigue, as well as rehabilitation following injury, surgery, or long-term illness. She has completed additional training in Parkinson’s rehabilitation (PD Warrior) and hydrotherapy for chronic conditions. Her programs are personalised, progressive, and focused on helping each person return to the activities they enjoy.
A lifelong sportswoman and competitive hockey player, Alison loves staying active and encouraging others to do the same. When she’s not exercising, you’ll find her cooking, gardening, or spending time with family.
