Ryan James Podiatry
Podiatrist (B. Podiatry, B. Health Sciences)
Ryan has a bachelor degree in podiatry and Bachelor of health science (Hons) both from the University of Newcastle. As part of his Honours program Ryan conducted a Cochrane Systematic review entitled Custom made foot orthoses for the treatment of foot pain. He was registered as a Podiatrist in 2009. In 2014 Ryan completed certificates to qualify as a level 2 sports trainer. Ryan is currently undertaking a Master degree in Public Health at the University of Newcastle and completing a certificate in Advanced Pharmacology for Podiatrist (University of South Australia). Ryan is a current affiliate member of the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons and member of the Australian Podiatry Association.
Previously Ryan has worked for the University of Newcastle as a University tutor for advanced foot and ankle biomechanics and podiatric pharmacology. He has also worked in private podiatry clinics in Hornsby and Tamworth before moving to the mid north coast. Ryan has now set up podiatry clinics in 5 locations on the mid north coast. Currently Ryan regularly takes Podiatry and Medical students from the University of Newcastle, University of Western Sydney and University of New South Wales. Ryan is also part of the GP training program at the Port Macquarie GP Super Clinic providing lectures to GP registrars on lower limb biomechanics
Clinical Interest: Lower limb biomechanics, corrective orthotics, sports podiatry and regenerative medicine. Ryan has had great success in using newer modalities to treat recalcitrant musculoskeletal conditions of the foot and ankle such as Orthokine Therapy, Ultrasound guided injections, Shockwave Therapy and Laser treatments.
Personal Interest: Enjoys time at the beach with his young family, surfing and relaxing watching friday night football or a good movie.

Dannielle grew up on the Central Coast- Terrigal area and went on to complete her Bachelor of Podiatry at the University of Newcastle. As part of her studies, she completed placements at Newcastle’s John Hunter High Risk Foot Clinic and multiple clinics across Australia. Dannielle relates well to people of all ages and looks forward to providing her patients with the highest level of professional care.
Clinical Interest: Paediatrics, nail surgery, biomechanics and diabetic foot care.
