Gary believes that seeking Psychological support is a proactive means of learning healthy appropriate strategies to provide aid at difficult times during our lives. These may include learning to deal with difficult people (maybe your Boss or relatives), managing depression, anger and anxiety more strategically, recover from loss and grief and feelings of hopelessness. Originally from Canada, Gary has worked around Australia within many areas including on call Mental Health, Family Services, Community Health, Corrections and Academia.
Gary is now semi- retired and will be consulting 1 – 2 days per week at our practice on a Tuesday or Wednesday
Area of interests: therapy for children, depression, anxiety, loss and grief, post-traumatic stress, chronic pain and those dealing with major stress situations leading to anger issues
Gary is here to help if you are looking for someone you can speak to who is non-judgmental and insightful. He brings a wealth of experience to his clients to help them to find their strengths. Complimenting Gary’s professional approach he is passionate about incorporating humour into his therapy sessions, believing that laughter is both positive and therapeutic. Personal interests: motorbikes, gardening and travel.

Gary has already been involved with Wauchope Physiotherapy and Sports Rehab Centre’s Chronic Pain Program in 2017 and has shown us that he is very talented in helping people over come the impact of a disability or chronic pain.
